Add files to project

The project may contain a number of files that require localization. You can create a project consisting of more than one file at the start of the program (See The new project wizard), or add files to the created project (Project\Add Files).

Original files are usually used during localization process, therefore it is important to keep consistency of their path. You can change original path using File Path menu in Navigation Pane.

All the files within the current project are displayed as a tree structure in the Navigation panel. You can change representation of file path in Tools\Options dialog.

By default relative path is used to save path to the original file. If you need to use absolute path select this option in Tools\Options dialog.

To add files to the project, click Add file in the Project menu or use the shortcut Ctrl+I. In the Insert file into Project dialog, choose the file name extensions in the file type field. The files of the appropriate type only will be displayed in the dialog box. Browse to the necessary files and select them. Use Ctrl and Shift to add more than one file. Click Open to insert the files into the project.
