Before starting the localization process, Lingobit Localizer creates a project that may consist of Windows binary files, Java properties, .NET resources, XML or other Lingobit Localizer supported file formats, containing source elements for the translation. Lingobit Localizer project contains information about the files that require localization, original and target languages, and the translation of text resources. All target language translations are included in the current project.
The Lingobit Localizer project file has a .loc extension. It is placed in the folder specified by the user. The project folder is a home directory for the localized files and supporting files.
The source files, as well as source and target languages are specified by the user when the project is created. However, the user can add or remove files and target language translations during the work over the project. For more information about the Lingobit Localizer project, please refer to The New Project Wizard.
