Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any business transactions with Lingobit Technologies. By accessing this website or purchasing a license, you confirm that you are acting on behalf of a business entity and agree to these Terms.

1. Parties

These Terms are between you ("Customer") and Lingobit Technologies, a sole proprietorship registered in Germany. Sales are directed exclusively to business customers (B2B). Consumers are not eligible to purchase.

2. Software License

We sell licenses for Lingobit Localizer software. Use of the software is governed by the End-User License Agreement (EULA), which must be accepted prior to installation.

3. Orders and Payment

Licenses are sold via our authorized reseller Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record and handles all payment processing and tax collection.

If you prefer to request an invoice or make a purchase via purchase order (PO), please contact us at support@lingobit.com.

4. Delivery

Upon receipt of payment, you will receive a license key and download link via email.

5. Evaluation and Refund Policy

A free trial version of Lingobit Localizer is available for evaluation. We recommend using the trial to assess suitability before purchase.

Refunds are not offered after purchase, due to the availability of the trial version. For purchases via Paddle, their refund policy applies.

6. Support

Support is included in the license for one (1) year from the date of purchase. It covers installation, activation, and usage of the software. Support is part of the license fee and is not available beyond the one-year period unless separately extended.

Support is provided on a best-effort basis, without guaranteed response times. Emergency or 24/7 support is not offered.

7. Intellectual Property

All software and website content are the property of Lingobit Technologies and protected by international copyright laws. Unauthorized redistribution or modification is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lingobit Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption, arising from the use or inability to use the software or website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of German courts.

11. User Submissions

You acknowledge and agree that any material, information, or data you transmit or submit to this Site or to Lingobit by any means, including but not limited to e‑mail, support tickets, forums, or upload forms will be deemed non‑confidential and non‑proprietary. By submitting such content you grant Lingobit a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, and display such content for any purpose related to the operation of the Site and Lingobit’s business.

12. Use of Site Content

Unless expressly permitted in writing by Lingobit, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, sell, or distribute any content from this Site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and audio— for commercial purposes. Limited non‑commercial, personal use is allowed provided that you keep intact all copyright and proprietary notices. Any unauthorized use of the Site’s content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws and could result in civil or criminal penalties.

13. External Links

This Site may contain links to third‑party websites or resources. These links are provided solely as a convenience to you and do not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by Lingobit of the third‑party site. Lingobit has no control over the content or practices of such websites and assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages or loss arising from your use of or reliance on any third‑party content, products, or services.

14. Compliance with Foreign Regulations

Lingobit controls and operates this Site from offices within the Federal Republic of Germany. We make no representation that materials on the Site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who choose to access the Site from other jurisdictions do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all local laws and regulations, to the extent local laws are applicable. Access to the Site from territories where the content is illegal is prohibited.
