Basic Steps
Lingobit Localizer works with the files you ship: EXE and DLL files, .NET assemblies, and resource files. You do not need to open the source code. A typical localization goes through these steps.
First release
Create a project and add files. Choose the original and target languages and add the files you want to localize. See Create new project.
Translate. Translate in the Translation Editor, reuse translation memory, use machine translation, or prepare a translation task for translators. See Translating resources and Working with translators.
Check. Run Validate & Fix, review dialogs and forms in the preview, and try a pseudo-translation. See How to check translations.
Create localized files. Choose Project > Create Localized Files. See Create Localized Files.
Next release
Scan for Changes. Put the new build where the original files of the project are and choose Project > Scan for Changes. Translations that still fit are kept; new and changed items are marked. See Scan for Changes.
Translate only what changed, check it, and create the localized files again.
If your application is already translated with another tool, import the existing translations from the localized files. See Migrating from other localization approaches.
To run these steps in a build script, use the command line.
