Output panel

The Output panel shows the results of operations: opening and saving the project, Scan for Changes, imports and exports, Translate Duplicates, validation, and Create Localized Files. In Localizer 10 it also holds the validation results; there is no separate validation pane. To show it, choose View > Panes > Output.

Operations, categories, and messages

Each operation is a group with a summary, for example the counts of New, Updated, and Removed items after Scan for Changes or the numbers of issues found, fixed, ignored, and remaining after validation. Expand it to see the categories and the single messages. While an operation runs, Output shows Working and the time it has taken.

Work with messages

Double-click a message, or choose Go To, to select its item in the Navigation pane and the Translation Editor.
Fix applies the automatic fix of a validation issue; Fix all in this group fixes all issues of a check or a file. See Validation.
For a validation issue, Ignore this check for turns the check off for the item, the file, or the whole project; Enforce for Translator makes the translator fix it; Validation Settings opens the settings.
For imported or received items, you can open the translation, delete it, or restore the original values, and compare the previous and new values in the details.
Filter Items shows the items changed by an import in the Navigation pane.
For files, Open File, Show in Folder, and Copy Full Path.
View Full Message, Copy Message, and View Messages as Text help you pass a result on, for example to support.
Clear All removes all messages.
