HTML Parser
The HTML > Parser page of the properties sets how HTML files are split into strings. After a change, run Scan for Changes.
Do not break text on following tags
Tags that keep a sentence in one string. TT, I, B, U, S, STRONG, SUB, SUP, and similar formatting tags are in the list. In new projects, EM, A, and SPAN are in it too; in a project created by an earlier version, add them with Add if you want such sentences in one string. See HTML Localization.
Parse attributes
Rules for the attributes to translate. Examples:
| Translate | Rule |
|---|---|
alt of images | ATTR="ALT" AND TAG="IMG" |
| META content with name title or description | ATTR="CONTENT" AND TAG="META" AND (@NAME="DESCRIPTION" OR @NAME="TITLE") |
title of any tag whose class is not HIDDEN | ATTR="TITLE" AND NOT(@CLASS="HIDDEN") |
The default rules translate alt, title, the META title, description, and keywords, values of input, option, and button elements, labels, and lang. In new projects, placeholder and aria-label are translated too; in a project created by an earlier version, add rules for them.
