Updating Translator's Project
When a new build of the application changes the text, the translator needs an up-to-date project. You do not have to send the whole project again.
Recommended: a new task with the changes
Import the translation results you already have. See Import Translation Results.
Run Scan for Changes with the new build.
Prepare a new translation task. The default filter Translation Task includes the new and changed items and the items that are not complete yet. See Prepare Translation Task.
All translations stay in your project, and you control what the translator receives.
Merge at the translator's side
If the translator has already started on the old translator project, the translator can carry that work into the new one:
Open the new
.ltpfile in Translator Edition.Choose File > Import Old Project and select the old
.ltpfile.Save the project and continue.
A translation from the old project replaces one in the new project only if its status is higher. The translation memory of the old project is imported too. The Output panel shows how many translations were imported and how many were not.
